Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of $2.31 per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $4.10 billion, up from $3.73 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $4.08 billion.

For Q4, the company expects revenue of between $2.66 billion and $2.72 billion.

Analysts expected $2.67 billion.

Shares of Airbnb ( ABNB ) were up about 2.9% in after-hours activity.
