11:17 AM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Airbnb ( ABNB ) said Monday it will no longer allow the use of indoor security cameras in listings globally, effective April 30.

Hosts will also be required to disclose the location of outdoor cameras, as well as the presence of other devices including noise decibel monitors, the company said.

Airbnb ( ABNB ) said violations of the new policy could lead to listing or account removal.

Shares of the company fell 1.7% in recent trading.
