PARIS, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Airbus has delivered
its first A321XLR, the longest-range single-aisle jet, after
Spanish airline Iberia took ownership, Flightradar24 tracking
data shows.
The plane, which took five years to develop and targets a
market previously served by Boeing's out-of-production 757 or
larger wide-body jets, switched owners late on Tuesday and is
scheduled to fly from Hamburg to Madrid on Wednesday.
Airbus declined comment. Iberia did not immediately respond
to a request for comment on the delivery, which was reported by
Reuters on Tuesday.
