Airgain, Compal Electronics Sign MoU to Commercialize 5G FWA Technology

11:16 AM EDT, 05/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Airgain ( AIRG ) said Thursday that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Compal Electronics to commercialize a 5G smart fixed wireless access technology.

The firm said its Smart Lantern uses a beamforming technology to simplify fixed wireless access deployment by automatically finding the best signal direction from 5G cellular base station.

Shares of Airgain ( AIRG ) rose about 4.5% in recent trading activity.
