08:44 AM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- US airline and cruise line operator shares were rising in Monday's premarket session as oil prices tumbled after President Donald Trump said he was postponing his threatened attacks on Iran's power infrastructure for five days.
American Airlines Group ( AAL ) and United Airlines (UAL) rose 5.5% and 4.6% respectively, while Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) and Ryanair ( RYAOF ) gained 3.8% and 3.5% respectively.
Among cruise lines, Carnival (CCL) and Royal Caribbean Cruises ( RCL ) advanced 4.7% and 4.5% respectively, while Viking (VIK) was up 2.2%.
Global benchmark Brent crude for May delivery was down 7.5% at $103.73 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude was 6.9% lower at $91.67 a barrel pre-bell.
