09:22 AM EDT, 10/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Shares of American Airlines ( AAL ) , Alaska Air Group ( ALK ) , United Airlines (UAL), Southwest Airlines ( LUV ) and JetBlue ( JBLU ) were rising in premarket activity Thursday after Delta (DAL) reported Q3 earnings and revenue that improved year over year and beat analyst expectations.
Delta Air reported Q3 adjusted earnings Thursday of $1.71 per share, up from $1.50 a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.53.
Delta's revenue for the quarter was $16.67 billion, up from $15.68 billion a year earlier. Adjusted operating revenue rose 4.1% to $15.2 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $15.08 billion.
Delta also said that for 2025, it expects adjusted EPS of $6, toward the upper end of its previous guidance of $5.25 to $6.25, on revenue growth of 2% to 4%, compared with its previous guidance of 0% to 4% growth.
