07:19 AM EDT, 07/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Airo Group Holdings ( AIRO ) Monday said it will build a new manufacturing and engineering development facility to boost production of its RQ-35 ISR drone system.

The planned U.S. facility will enable AIRO ( AIRO ) to scale production efficiently and compete for American-made defense and commercial opportunities, Airo ( AIRO ) said.

The facility will also serve as a hub for future innovation, the company added.

To support new product development, AIRO ( AIRO ) is designing and engineering unmanned aircraft systems for both commercial and military markets. This includes ongoing enhancements to the RQ-35 and the development of the next generation of fully autonomous mini-drones, the company said.
