06:23 AM EDT, 06/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX)-backed AirTrunk plans to invest more than $30 billion in India by 2030 to expand digital infrastructure and support growing demand for AI and cloud services, the company said Friday.
The investment would rank among India's largest digital infrastructure initiatives and support the country's ambitions to become a global hub for AI and cloud infrastructure, AirTrunk said.
AirTrunk said its India pipeline includes 600 megawatts of capacity across Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad, with planned investments supporting up to 5 gigawatts of new data center capacity and additional technology investment.
