Akanda Files for Potential $1.5 Million Stock Offering

12:36 PM EDT, 09/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Akanda ( AKAN ) on Thursday filed a preliminary prospectus for a potential $1.5 million common stock offering.

The filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission also includes pre-funded warrants consisting of one pre-funded warrant to purchase one common share.

The final public offering price per common share is yet to be determined, according to the filing.

The company said it plans to use the net proceeds for capital expenditures, operating capacity, working capital, general corporate purposes and the refinancing or repayment of debt and acquisitions of complementary products, technologies or businesses.

Price: 1.18, Change: +0.01, Percent Change: +0.85
