09:13 AM EDT, 03/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) said Thursday that it has appointed Abizer Gaslightwala as president and chief executive officer, starting April 21.

Gaslightwala was most recently senior vice president and franchise head for US Oncology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals (JAZZ), Akari said.

Gaslightwala was appointed to Akari's board in December, the company said.
