04:56 PM EDT, 04/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alamo (ALG) said late Tuesday that it has been informed that the unionized employees at its Gradall Industries unit in New Philadelphia, Ohio, will go on strike after failing to reach a labor deal with the company.

About 200 workers belong to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, District Lodge 54, Local Lodge 1285, the company said.

Talks are ongoing with union leaders to reach an agreement on a new labor deal and restore operations, Alamo said.
