04:36 PM EST, 12/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alamo Group ( ALG ) late Friday said Jeff Leonard plans to step down as chief executive and president as soon as the Alamo board of directors can appoint his successor.

The industrial and agricultural equipment manufacturer said it has been preparing for Leonard's upcoming retirement and expects to name a new CEO "within the next several months."
