07:23 AM EDT, 07/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alamos Gold ( AGI ) reported an 8% reduction in total Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions for 2023 in its annual Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report that was released on Friday.

The company, which says it reduced its energy consumption by 16% per ounce of gold produced, also reported zero significant environmental incidents during the year, including zero reportable tailings-related events.
