Alamos Gold Sells Turkish Development Projects for $470 Million

09:07 AM EDT, 10/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alamos Gold ( AGI ) said Monday that its Dutch subsidiaries have completed the sale of their Turkish subsidiary, Dogu Biga Madencilik Sanayi ve Tic, which owns the Kirazli, Agi Dagi, and Camyurt projects, to Tumad Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret for $470 million in cash.

The company said it will receive $160 million at closing, and $160 million and $150 million on the one- and two-year anniversaries, respectively.

The payments are secured by bank guarantees from investment-grade international financial institutions, it added.
