Alaska Air Receives $61 Million Compensation in Supplier Credit Memos from Boeing

09:02 AM EDT, 05/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alaska Air Group ( ALK ) said Friday that it received $61 million in supplier credit memos from Boeing ( BA ) to compensate for the temporary grounding of 737-9 Max planes.

The credit memos can be used on future Boeing ( BA ) purchases, Alaska Air ( ALK ) said in a regulatory filing Friday.

The airline said it received $162 million in cash compensation from Boeing ( BA ) during Q1.
