Alaska Airlines Websites Disrupted by Microsoft Azure Outage

03:08 PM EDT, 10/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alaska Air Group's ( ALK ) Alaska Airlines said Wednesday its websites and other key systems were disrupted due to a global outage affecting Microsoft's ( MSFT ) Azure platform, where several of the carrier's services are hosted.

The airline said the outage has impacted online check-in and other systems, advising travelers to see an airport agent for boarding passes and allow extra time at check-in counters.

Shares of Alaska Air ( ALK ) fell 1.8% in recent trading.
