Albemarle's Swings to Q1 Adjusted Loss, Revenue Falls

03:47 AM EDT, 05/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Albemarle (ALB) reported a Q1 adjusted loss late Wednesday of $0.18 per diluted share, swinging from an adjusted profit of $0.26 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.66.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $1.08 billion compared with $1.36 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.16 billion.
