11:54 AM EST, 12/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alberta's in-situ bitumen production of 1.91 million barrels per day (b/d) in November was largely flat sequentially but increased about 100,000 b/d year over year, RBC Capital Markets said in a Friday note.
In November, Imperial Oil ( IMO ) 's Cold Lake production volumes remained strong at 163,700 b/d, pointing toward a solid fourth quarter with the contribution from Grand Rapids Phase 1, the bank noted.
Elsewhere, Cenovus Energy's ( CVE ) Foster Creek operation reported production volumes of 198,200 b/d in November, its second strongest month of production this year at Foster Creek, according to RBC.
Production volumes at Suncor Energy ( SU ) 's Firebag operation also came in strong at 246,800 b/d in November, with its steam-to-oil ratio, a key measure of operational efficiency, continuing to fall throughout 2024, RBC said.
