Albertsons California Workers Ratify Contract to Improve Wages, Benefits

12:22 PM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Albertsons ( ACI ) workers in California, represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 952, ratified a new five-year agreement that boosts wages and benefits.

The contract covers 1,600 grocery distribution workers, including drivers, warehouse, clerical, and maintenance staff, the union said Tuesday in a statement.

The agreement provides an immediate wage increase of $4 per hour, with raises totaling $10 over the contract term, the union said.

Workers also secured a $2 increase in pension contributions, according to the statement.
