Albertsons Expected to Reaffirm Fiscal 2025 Outlook, RBC Capital Says
Oct 3, 2025 8:31 AM

11:01 AM EDT, 10/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Albertsons ( ACI ) is expected to reiterate its fiscal 2025 outlook and its expectation for fiscal 2026 to be "on-algo," RBC Capital said in a Friday note.

The grocery company is also expected to report higher fiscal Q2 identical sales growth than previously estimated by RBC Capital Markets, while core profit is projected to come in lower than prior projections.

The company said in July it expected fiscal 2025 adjusted EPS of $2.03 to $2.16 with identical sales growth of 2% to 2.75%.

Albertsons ( ACI ) was affected by a regional union strike that lasted for roughly 21 days, which management said may impact sales by about $15 million to $20 million, the note said.

The company is also "lapping" more than 22.5% pharmacy growth from a year earlier, the analysts said, adding that the COVID vaccine approval for 2025 came later than in 2024, which could represent a "modest headwind" since administering vaccines is seen as "high margin."

Albertsons ( ACI ) is scheduled to release fiscal Q2 results before market open on Oct. 14.

RBC lowered its price target to $21 from $23 and maintained an outperform rating on the stock.

Price: 17.45, Change: +0.09, Percent Change: +0.55
