08:29 AM EST, 03/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alcoa ( AA ) said Monday that it launched a $1 billion offering of senior notes through its Alumina subsidiary.

The company said Alumina plans to use the funds toward contributions to subsidiary Alcoa Nederland, which it also said Monday has issued $750 million of 5.500% senior notes due 2027 and $500 million of 6.125% senior notes due 2028.

Shares of Alcoa ( AA ) were up 1.5% in recent premarket activity.
