04:56 PM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alcoa ( AA ) said late Thursday its Alcoa Nederland Holding subsidiary has closed its $750 million offering of 7.125% senior notes due 2031.

The offering marks the first time the aluminum company has issued a security within its Green Finance Framework, Alcoa ( AA ) said. It expects to use the proceeds to fund projects that meet certain eligibility criteria within the framework.
