Alector Appoints New Chief Medical Officer

04:27 PM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alector ( ALEC ) said Friday it has appointed Giacomo Salvadore as chief medical officer, starting April 25.

Salvadore joined the company in 2023 as senior vice president of clinical development, Alector ( ALEC ) said.

The company said Gary Romano has made the decision to step down from his role as chief medical officer. Romano will continue as an advisor following his transition.
