05:41 PM EDT, 03/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Algonquin Power & Utilities ( AQNB ) said late Thursday that Chief Executive Rod West has been appointed to its board of directors.

The board also plans to add Gavin Molinelli, a senior partner and portfolio manager at Starboard Value, after approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the company said.

Following both appointments, Algonquin's board will have 11 members, including nine independent directors, it added.
