Alibaba Consolidates E-commerce Businesses Under Single Unit

06:54 AM EST, 11/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alibaba Group ( BABA ) said Thursday in a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing that it has established Alibaba E-commerce Business Group that will consolidate its e-commerce businesses, including Taobao and Tmall Group, Alibaba International Digital Commerce Group, 1688 Marketplace, and Idle Fish.

Alibaba ( BABA ) said the new group will oversee domestic and international supply chains and named Fan Jiang the Chief Executive Officer.
