05:32 AM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alibaba Group's ( BABA ) cloud unit said Wednesday it intends to launch its first data centers in Brazil, France, and the Netherlands, with more data centers planned for Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Dubai in the coming year.

The company will also establish new regional service centers in Indonesia and Germany.

Alibaba Cloud's Platform for AI announced an integration of the full suite of the Nvidia ( NVDA ) Physical AI software stack to help give developers a platform to accelerate humanoid robotics and Physical AI advancements, the company said.

Alibaba shares were up 9.1% in recent premarket activity, while Nvidia ( NVDA ) rose 0.7%.
