Alibaba Expands Partnership With Xiaohongshu to Boost Cross-Platform Shopping

10:06 AM EDT, 05/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alibaba ( BABA ) said Wednesday its e-commerce platforms Taobao and Tmall are expanding a partnership with content platform Xiaohongshu, also known as 'RedNote.'

The project will allow merchants to embed product links from their Taobao and Tmall stores into Xiaohongshu posts, Alibaba ( BABA ) said.

Users will be able to click on the links embedded in Xiaohongshu posts and be redirected to Taobao's app to complete their purchases, the company said.

The project will be piloted initially in categories like fast-moving consumer goods, healthcare, as well as sports and outdoors products, the company said.
