Alibaba Group Launches AI Reasoning Model QwQ-32B

05:57 AM EST, 03/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alibaba Group ( BABA ) said Thursday on X that it has launched QwQ-32B, an artificial intelligence reasoning model developed by its AI unit Qwen.

Qwen said QwQ-32B, which features 32 billion parameters, delivers performance comparable to DeepSeek's R1 model, with 671 billion parameters.

QwQ-32B is accessible via Alibaba's ( BABA ) Qwen Chat.

Alibaba Group's ( BABA ) shares were up nearly 3% in premarket activity.
