05:23 PM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alibaba Group ( BABA ) said late Wednesday it plans a $3.2 billion offering of zero-coupon convertible senior notes due 2032 to some non-US persons in offshore transactions.

Net proceeds will be used to bolster its cloud infrastructure and for general corporate purposes, according to a statement.

Shares fell 1.7% during after-hours trading.
