Alibaba's Cloud Unit, NBA China Sign Multi-Year Partnership Agreement

07:36 AM EDT, 10/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alibaba Group Holding's ( BABA ) cloud computing arm, Alibaba Cloud, said Thursday that it has signed a multi-year collaboration with NBA China to become an official cloud computing and AI partner of NBA China.

Alibaba Cloud said it will develop applications to improve live game viewing and other fan engagement experiences, such as those associated with NBA All-Star, the NBA Playoffs and the Finals.

The announcement came ahead of the NBA China Games 2025, which will feature preseason games between the Brooklyn Nets and the Phoenix Suns at The Venetian Arena in Macao on Friday and Sunday, Alibaba Cloud said.
