07:15 AM EDT, 08/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alkane Resources ( ALKEF ) overnight Thursday said fiscal year net income and sales both advanced.
The company, which has three mines in Australia and Sweden, said profit jumped 87% to AUD$33 million, from AUD$17.7 million in the previous year. The company did not provide per share amounts.
Revenue increased 52% to AUD$262.3 million. The result was slightly below the consensus analyst estimate of AUD$262.9 million, according to FactSet. Gold sales increased 21% to AUD$69,800 ounces at a sale price of AUD$3,770.
Gold production also increased, to 70,120 ounces, from 57,217 ounces. Alkane said the increase reflects higher grade ore and recoveries via the fine grind circuit upgrade.
Alkane Resources ( ALKEF ) and Mandalay Resources (MND.TO) shareholders both voted to approve the merger between the two companies which was effective from Aug. 5th.
