06:45 AM EST, 11/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alkane Resources ( ALKEF ) late Sunday released results from underground expansion and pre-mine grade control drilling that discovered new mineralization at the Tomingley gold operations in central New South Wales.
Drilling discovered a second andesite with significant gold mineralization located about 150 meters to the west of the current resource, the company said.
Highlights of the results from the western andesite at McLeans include 26 meters grading 4.36 grams per tonne gold from 112 meters, including 3.3 meters grading 22.8 g/t gold from 112.7 meters; 10.7 meters grading 2.09 g/t gold from 105 meters; and 8 meters grading 2.33 g/t gold from 113 meters, including 0.8 meters grading 14.4 g/t gold from 118 meters.
Significant drilling intercepts within the McLeans inferred resource hosted by the eastern andesite include 10 meters grading 1.31 g/t gold from 284 meters, 3.7 meters grading 1.66 g/t gold from 314.1 meters, and 0.5 meters grading 38.9 g/t gold from 332.5 meters.
At Roswell, an intensive underground drilling program within and extending the current inferred resource is in progress. Drilling confirmed multiple wide, high-grade gold intercepts within the 30-meters thick monzodiorite.
Highlights at Roswell include 9.3 meters grading 3.88 g/t gold from 157.9 meters, including 1.1 meters grading 10.5 g/t gold from 157.9 meters; and 1.8 meters grading 2.05 g/t gold from 117.2 meters.
