Alkane Resources, Mandalay Resources to merge in deal creating $646.5 million company

April 28 (Reuters) - Australia's Alkane Resources ( ALKEF )

and Canada's Mandalay Resources ( MNDJF ) to merge in

all-share deal, creating combined company with implied market

capitalization of A$1.01 billion ($646.50 million), the two

companies said in a joint statement on Monday.

($1 = 1.5623 Australian dollars)
