12:00 PM EDT, 05/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Allegiant Travel ( ALGT ) said Wednesday that its preliminary total system passenger count in April dropped nearly 12% year over year to about 1.3 million.

Available seat miles last month declined 10% from a year earlier, while departures fell 10%, the travel company said.

Shares of Allegiant Travel ( ALGT ) were down 3.2% in recent trading.
