05:45 PM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Allegiant Travel ( ALGT ) reached a tentative agreement with Transport Workers Union Local 577 regarding a five-year contract on flight attendants' wages, the union said Thursday.

The tentative agreement includes an average wages increase of 25% with flight attendants at the higher end of the wage scale getting a 41% increment if the contract is ratified, the union added.

The union said this tentative agreement also covers wage enhancements, including premium pays as well as improvements to duty rig, or pay credits based on time spent on duty.

Additionally, it covers an improved 401k match, health insurance benefits and a combined $10 million lump sum bonus, the union added.

Allegiant Travel ( ALGT ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
