09:51 AM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Allegiant Travel ( ALGT ) said Wednesday that its preliminary total system passenger traffic increased by 12.5% year over year in August to about 1.5 million passengers.

Available seat miles for August were up 14.4% and departures increased by 15.8%, the travel company added.

The company's shares were up over 2% in recent Wednesday trading.
