08:21 AM EDT, 06/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Allegion ( ALLE ) said Tuesday a subsidiary has acquired Krieger Specialty Products.

Financial details of the acquisition weren't disclosed.

California-based Krieger manufactures specialty doors and windows that shield against violence and natural elements for industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. Allegion ( ALLE ) said the acquisition will broaden its portfolio of security offerings, and Krieger will operate as part of the Allegion Americas segment.

Krieger Chief Executive Bob McCluney will advise Allegion ( ALLE ) over a transition period while other Krieger personnel will become part of Allegion Americas' non-residential business.
