Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.86.

Total revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $1.28 billion, up from $1.12 billion a year earlier.

Analyst estimates were not readily available for comparison.

The investment management firm also declared a quarterly distribution of $1.05 per unit, payable March 13, to holders of record as of Feb. 18.

Shares of the company were up 2.6% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
