10:29 AM EDT, 09/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Allied Gaming & Entertainment ( AGAE ) said Friday it made its first investment in Bitcoin and Ethereum to integrate cryptocurrency into its corporate treasury.

Financial details weren't provided.

The company said the investment is the initial step in a strategy that includes blockchain payments, tokenization of real-world assets, and stablecoin integration.

Future plans involve enabling crypto transactions across its esports and entertainment platforms and developing tokens tied to intellectual property and other assets, it added.

The company's shares were up nearly 117% in recent trading.
