Allison to Install Transmissions in SANY All-Terrain Cranes

05:52 PM EDT, 04/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Allison Transmission ( ALSN ) late Wednesday said it was partnering with mining and construction heavy equipment manufacturer Sany to include Allison 4970 Specialty Series transmissions into SANY's STC5000 all-terrain crane.

Once installation is complete, the new 500-ton cranes will be used in several remote areas in China, including desert and mountain terrains. Financial details were not disclosed.
