05:58 PM EDT, 10/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Allison Transmission ( ALSN ) said late Tuesday its venture capital arm, Allison Ventures, acquired a stake in Agtonomy that provides artificial intelligence-enabled automation software for agriculture and land maintenance.

The investment will help Agtonomy improve its productivity and operational efficiency, Allison said.

Financial details of the deal weren't disclosed.
