Allstate Completes Sale of Employer Voluntary Benefits Business

12:36 PM EDT, 04/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Allstate ( ALL ) said Tuesday it has completed the sale of its Employer Voluntary Benefits business to StanCorp Financial Group for $2 billion.

"The sale...generated a financial book gain of about $625 million," said Chief Financial Officer Jess Merten. "The proceeds will support our disciplined capital management approach, including the recently announced share repurchase program."
