11:44 AM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Allstate ( ALL ) said Tuesday it completed the $1.25 billion sale of its Group Health business to Nationwide.

The sale of Group Health is expected to generate a financial book gain of about $500 million, Allstate ( ALL ) chief financial officer Jess Merten said.

The deal closed in accordance with the terms of the agreement executed on Jan. 30, Nationwide said in a separate statement.
