Allstate Reports Q2 Catastrophe Losses

08:51 AM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Allstate ( ALL ) said Thursday its total catastrophe losses for Q2 were $2.12 billion pre-tax, or $1.67 billion after tax.

The company's estimated catastrophe losses for June were $230 million, or $182 million after tax, Allstate ( ALL ) added.

Catastrophe losses for the month of June include 18 events estimated at $274 million, mostly related to wind and hail events, the insurance company said.

Allstate's ( ALL ) stock was 1.8% higher in recent Thursday premarket activity.
