09:17 AM EDT, 08/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Allurion Technologies ( ALUR ) said Wednesday that data from a study of patients participating in its medical weight loss program showed a 10.5% average weight reduction after four months, improving to 13.7% after a year.

The company said the study involved 486 patients who were treated with the Allurion Balloon and asserted monthly with the Allurion App, Connected Scale and Health Tracker as part of its Allurion Program.

Shares of Allurion Technologies ( ALUR ) rose more than 5% in recent pre-bell activity.
