04:39 PM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Almadex Minerals ( AAMMF ) after trade Wednesday provided an update on the exploration activities it plans for the remainder of 2025.

The company said it recently completed two diamond drill holes at its Paradise Project in Nevada and will begin drilling a third hole soon. Assay results are still pending, and an update will be shared once results are received and analyzed.

Almadex expects Azucar Minerals (AMZ.V) to begin initial drilling, pending TSX Venture Exchange approval, on a project optioned earlier this year. The company also plans to start first-pass drilling on its New Hope porphyry target in Arizona later this year.

The company also said it continues to conduct regional generative exploration desktop and field activities, resulting in the acquisition of several new projects in 2025, including the Red Antler and Ruby Hill silver-gold projects in Utah and Nevada, as well as a rare earth exploration project in New Mexico.

Fieldwork is ongoing at multiple sites, including the Bald Valley and White River projects in Nevada, Red Antler in Utah, and Big Sky in New Mexico. Results will be reported once they are available and compiled, the company added.

The company's shares closed down $0.02 to $0.42 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
