Almonty Industries Says not Impacted by U.S. Executive Order on Reciprocal Tariffs

09:32 AM EDT, 04/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Almonty Industries ( ALMTF ) , a global producer of tungsten concentrate, on Friday said that currently its operations and product exports are not affected by the recent executive order issued by the United States government regarding reciprocal tariffs on select imports.

The company confirmed that its tungsten ore, concentrates, oxide, and related materials are not subject to the newly imposed tariffs after following a detailed review of Annex I and Annex II of the Executive Order.

"The explicit exclusion of our products from the new tariff measures highlights the strategic importance of tungsten in supporting the national security, industrial independence, and resilient supply chains of American industry," said Almonty Chief Executive Lewis Black.

Shares of the company closed up 2.8% to $2.21 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
