05:02 PM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alpha and Omega Semiconductor ( AOSL ) said Wednesday it has reached a settlement with the US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security to close a probe of its export control practices.

AOS said it will make a one-time payment of $4.25 million to settle the allegations.

The company said the settlement "brings to an end the [US] government's five-year-plus investigation, which resulted in no criminal charges."
