Alpha Metallurgical Resources Expects to Report Q4 Net Loss

08:49 AM EST, 01/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Alpha Metallurgical Resources ( AMR ) said Friday it expects to report Q4 net loss of $1.34 per diluted share.

One analyst polled by FactSet expects a loss of $0.79.

The company also said it anticipates coal revenue of $519.1 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31.

Three analysts polled by FactSet expect $534.5 million.

The preliminary results for Q4 reflect a challenging met coal market that persisted through the majority of 2025, said Chief Executive Officer Andy Eidson.

The company said it plans to release audited Q4 and full-year financial results on Feb. 27.

Shares of the company were down over 1% in recent Friday premarket activity.
