Alphabet-Foxconn Joint Venture Gets European Commission's Approval

10:09 AM EDT, 08/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) joint venture with Foxconn has received approval from the European Commission, the regulator said Wednesday.

The creation of the joint venture relates mainly to the market for the supply of automation products.

The commission said the transaction would not raise competition concerns due to its limited impact on the European Economic Area.
